Uses
Carisoprodol is used in the treatment of pain and feeling of discomfort (malaise) caused by muscle injury or acute musculoskeletal conditions.
How it works
Carisoprodol belongs to a class of medications called as centrally acting muscle relaxants. It alters the signals from spinal cord and brain to skeletal muscles, which results in muscle relaxation and relief from pain.
INDICATIONS
SOMA is indicated for the relief of discomfort associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions in adults.
Limitation Of Use
SOMA should only be used for short periods (up to two or three weeks) because adequate evidence of effectiveness for more prolonged use has not been established and because acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions are generally of short duration.
